Sahel EDU

Attendance that keeps working when the network drops

In many schools the mobile network disappears at the very moment of the register. With Sahel EDU, the teacher fills in the register on their phone; if the connection is missing, the entry stays on the device, then saves itself as soon as the network returns, and the teacher receives a confirmation.

Attendance in a few taps

  • Attendance is taken by lesson: the teacher opens their lesson and ticks the absentees and latecomers.
  • A message confirms that the attendance has been saved, even after a network cut.
  • Attendance can be corrected during a period set by the school; after that, only the school life office can change it.

Absences, lateness and justifications

The senior supervisor sees the day’s absences, repeated lateness and attendance gaps over recent weeks. Justifications are entered on the spot, and families check their child’s attendance in their own space.

Staff clock-in

The same principle applies to staff: a clock-in by QR Code at the school entrance, with tracking of attendance gaps.

Frequently asked questions

Is a connection needed to take attendance?

No. Attendance is entered without a connection and saved as soon as the network returns, with a message confirming it.

Can families follow attendance?

Yes. Each family checks their child’s absences and lateness in their parent space.
